The Pimlico racing season begins with the month-long Preakness Meet each May and resumes in September with another month of thoroughbred racing. Standard Pimlico race days run from Friday through Sunday each week.

Dining options include trackside restaurants on the second floor of the clubhouse and concessions on all three stories of the grandstand. Visitors can head to the first floor of the clubhouse for simulcast wagering most days. Pimlico parking and admission are free, and minors may attend the races if accompanied by adults.

Laurel Park

Ocean Downs hosts live harness racing from June through early September, typically on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The track also offers year-round simulcast wagering.

The property also has a few dining options, including a trackside restaurant. Other amenities include an event center and casino with slots, table games, video poker, and a sportsbook. Visitors must be 21 or older to enter the casino, but minors accompanied by adults may attend live races.

Fair Hill Races

Fair Hill Races hosts thoroughbred and steeplechase races operated by the Cecil County Breeders Fair. Minors may attend live events, and children under 10 get free entry. General admission starts at $25 for adults and $15 for kids ten or older.

The track closed in 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions and remained closed in 2021 and 2022 for construction. The track also skipped the 2023 season due to a dispute over its land use agreement with the state.

Rosecroft Raceway

Rosecroft Raceway hosts harness racing from January through May, typically on Sundays and Wednesdays. The track hosts another harness meet from September through December on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Timonium Race Course

Timonium Race Course holds live thoroughbred racing during the Maryland State Fair during the last weekend in August through Labor Day weekend. Admission to the fair starts at $10 for adults and $5 for children and includes live racing.
