TheLotterTicket Discounts Get Bonus

Although the Florida Lottery does not offer online ticket sales, legal courier apps offer an alternative method that’s safe, quick, and provides quick payouts.

Legal lottery courier apps take customers’ orders online, purchase official tickets from authorized retailers, and notify players when they win. Typically, courier companies accept orders for each state’s big jackpot games, some of its smaller daily-drawing games, and occasionally even scratch-off tickets.

TheLotter is the most reputable courier available in Florida. Players can use TheLotter to buy Florida Lottery tickets online from anywhere in the state and receive automatic payouts to their accounts for all prizes under $600. Customers who win larger prizes receive notification from TheLotter to arrange the transfer of the winning ticket (by hand or certified mail) to the winner, who can then claim their prize directly from the Florida Lottery.

TheLotter supports the following Florida Lottery games:

  • Powerball
  • Mega Millions
  • Pick 2
  • Pick 3
  • Pick 4
  • Pick 5

Regular players can download the Florida Lottery app to make tasks like checking tickets for winners and entering second chance drawings more convenient. It’s a straightforward app without many bells and whistles, but it performs its core duties more reliably than most states’ lottery apps.

That said, the Florida Lottery app could significantly enhance the convenience factor by tweaking the ticket scanner to automatically enter eligible non-winning tickets into second chance drawings.

Currently, players must use the scanner to see if a ticket is a winner, then visit the promos tab and scan it again to enter it into a second-chance promo.

Key FL Lottery app features:

  • Ticket Scanner: Scan the front barcode on your scratch-offs and draw game  tickets to see if you’ve won.
  • Recent Results: View all draw games’ current jackpots, latest results, past results, and rules.
  • Scratch-Offs Database: See a complete list of all available scratch-off games, prizes remaining, odds of winning, and claim deadlines.
  • Digital Payslips: Save time by selecting and saving your favorite numbers, generating payslips, and having the cashier scan your phone to generate your tickets.
  • Current Promotions: Visit the promos tab in the Florida Lottery app to see all current promos and second chance drawings.
  • Retailer Locator: Find the nearest Florida Lottery retailer using your phone’s location service or inputting your zip code.

The Florida Lottery maintains a rotating lineup of promotional offers, such as second-chance drawings and instant bonuses at the register.

The offers change frequently but can take various forms:

  • Second Chance Drawings: Enter your non-winning tickets for chances to win cash prizes, VIP trips to sporting events, and luxury goods.
  • Promo Codes: Get the latest Florida Lottery promo codes by following its official social media accounts and redeem them for free or discounted tickets at the retailer.
  • Social Media Giveaways: Follow the Florida Lottery online to participate in random giveaways for prizes like gift cards, electronics, free tickets, and more.

Players can see the latest Florida Lottery promos by visiting floridalottery.com or opening the FL Lottery app and selecting the “promotions” tab.

Florida Lotto is a $2 draw game with some of the highest average jackpots in the nation. Over the past several years, Florida Lotto jackpots have averaged about $14.7 million.

The Florida Lotto jackpot starts at $ 1 million, but it grows quickly and regularly approaches the $50 million mark thanks to its twice-weekly rollovers. Florida Lotto drawings occur every Wed and Sat at 11:15 PM ET.

Players participate by choosing six numbers from a pool of 1-53 or selecting quick pick for randomly selected numbers. After they submit their picks and pay, players receive a ticket with their numbers and a random multiplier of 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, or 10x.

Players receive payouts ranging from a free ticket to the jackpot if they get two or more matches in the subsequent drawing. Players who get three, four, or five matches in the next drawing win the base prize multiplied by the multiplier number printed on their ticket:

4$501 in 1,415.82

For example, a player who gets three matches on a ticket with a 4x multiplier would win $20 ($5 base prize x 4).

Florida Lotto also has two optional add-ons that players can activate for an additional $1 each:

  • Double Play: Enters your numbers into a secondary drawing held immediately after the main drawing to win prizes ranging from a free ticket to $250,000. Double Play works like the main drawing, except it has larger non-jackpot prizes and a fixed jackpot of $250,000.
  • EZmatch: Prints six separate EZmatch numbers and prizes on your ticket. If any of your EZmatch numbers match any of the Florida Lotto numbers, you win the prize shown on your ticket. Prizes range from $2 to $500, and the overall odds of winning an EZMatch prize are 1 in 4.71.

Fantasy 5 is a twice-daily draw game with a top prize of around $100,000 based on total ticket sales. Drawings occur daily at 1:05 PM ET and 11:15 PM ET.

If no one wins the jackpot in a Fantasy 5 drawing, the prize money rolls down to lower prize levels.

Here’s the rundown:

  • Fantasy 5 tickets are $1 each
  • Players choose five numbers from 1-36
  • Match two or more numbers in the next drawing to win a prize

Fantasy 5 Prizes (All Prizes Estimated)

  • Match 5: $100,000 (1 in 376,992)

  • Match 3: $10 ($18 estimated rolldown prize) (1 in 81.07)
  • Match 2: Free Ticket (Fixed Prize) (1 in 8.39)

Players may activate the EZmatch feature for $1 to receive five EZmatch numbers and prizes. If any of your EZmatch numbers are selected in the next drawing, you’ll win the prize amount for that number printed on your ticket.

Pick 2 is a two-digit draw game with a $50 top prize and ticket prices of $0.50 or $1. Drawings occur daily at 1:30 PM ET and 9:45 PM ET.

In each game, players select two numbers, each from a range of 0-9. Next, players choose one of the following wagers related to which two numbers the lottery will draw.

Pick 2 Wager Options and Prizes (Based on a $1 Play)

  • Straight: Pick the winning numbers in the exact order: $50 (1 in 100)
  • Box: Pick the winning numbers in any order: $25 (1 in 50)
  • Straight/Box: Combines a $0.50 straight wager and a $0.50 box wager. Only available as a $1 bet. The straight and box portions both win if you pick the winning numbers in the exact order for a combined payout of $37.50. If you pick the winning numbers but not in the exact order, the box portion pays $12.50.
  • Front Number: Your first number matches the first number drawn: $5 (1 in 10)
  • Back Number: Your second number matches the second number drawn: $5 (1 in 10)

Fireball Option: All Florida Lottery Pick X games offer the fireball option for an extra $1.00. After the main drawing, the lottery draws an additional Fireball number to replace one of the Pick numbers if it creates additional winning combinations for the player’s ticket.

Pick 4 is nearly identical to Pick 3, except players pick four numbers instead of three. As a result, Pick 4’s wagers are more difficult to win but offer substantially larger payouts.

For example, here’s how straight wagers (pick the next drawing’s numbers in the exact order) compare in Pick 3 vs. Pick 4:

  • Odds of Winning: 1 in 1,000 (Pick 3) vs. 1 in 10,000 (Pick 4)
  • Payout: $500 (Pick 3) vs. $5,000 (Pick 4)

Pick 4 also offers additional wagering options, such as:

  • 12-way boxes: Your pick includes two identical digits (e.g., 2-2-5-9) and wins if they match the lottery’s in any order (1 in 833 chance to win $400 on a $1 ticket)
  • 24-way boxes: Your pick includes four unique digits and wins if they match the lottery’s in any order (1 in 417 chance to win $200 on a $1 ticket)

Pick 5 bumps the Pick 4 concept up one more notch by adding another digit to the mix. In Pick 5, players select five numbers from 0 to 9 and can win up to $50,000.

Pick 5 offers all the same types of wagers as Pick 4 (plus a few extras), except the payouts and odds of winning change by a factor of ten.

For example, a straight wager’s odds move from 1 in 10,000 in Pick 4 to 1 in 100,000 in Pick 5. Likewise, the payout moves from $5,000 to $50,000.

Cash Pop is a draw game that issues small but frequent prizes worth up to $2,500 in each of its five daily drawings.

The Florida Lottery draws just one number in each Cash Pop drawing, but players can win a wide range of prizes on every ticket.

Here’s how it works:

  • Pick one to fifteen numbers from a pool numbered 1-15 on your Cash Pop ticket.
  • Choose a play amount of $1, $2, $5, or $10 (this amount is per number).
  • The total ticket cost is the play amount times the number of selections you made. For example, if you select five numbers on a $2 play, your total ticket cost will be $10.

After you pay, you’ll receive a ticket displaying your chosen numbers, each with a random prize ranging from $5 to $2,500. If the Cash Pop number selected during the next drawing matches any of the numbers on your ticket, you’ll win the prize printed on your ticket next to the matching number.

Potential Cash Pop prizes vary based on the base wager amount. For example, a $1 game pays a maximum prize of $20, while a $10 game pays up to $2,500.

The following table displays the prizes available for each base wager amount and the odds of winning that prize for each number played. The overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 15.
