Caesars Rewards is a wide-ranging loyalty program open to all Caesars Entertainment customers. The Caesars rewards program provides a wide range of ongoing benefits as members move up through six VIP levels plus frequent promotions, room comps, discounts, bonuses, and more for active players.

Members can earn rewards at more than 55 destinations in the United States, spread across 17 states and internationally. Caesars Rewards greatly expanded its footprint when Eldorado Resorts purchased Caesars Entertainment in 2019 as part of a blockbuster $17.3 billion acquisition deal.

Guests and reviewers frequently rank Caesars Rewards as the best casino loyalty program in the industry. In 2021, Caesars Rewards received best-in-class recognition from two independent organizations, USA TODAY and Global Gaming Awards.

However, in 2023, Caesars Entertainment reduced the rate at which customers earn points for sports wagers. Caesars Rewards remains a strong program overall, but it provides significantly less utility for sports bettors than it did before the change.

How Caesars Rewards Works

Signing up for Caesars Rewards is free, and customers can register an account online in minutes. Anyone who uses the Caesars Sportsbook & Casino app can visit this page to connect their online accounts to ensure they earn RCs and TCs for their online play.

The Caesars Casino loyalty program revolves around two types of currencies: Reward Credits (RCs) and and Tier Credits (TCs).

  • Reward Credits are the currency of Caesars Rewards. As members accrue RCs, they can exchange them for free play, entries to World Series of Poker events, shopping credits, dining experiences, hotel bookings at Caesars Rewards destinations, eCatalog purchases, and more.
  • Tier Credits serve just one function, determining each member’s level in the Caesars Rewards VIP program. Caesars customers begin as Gold members and can move up through six membership levels to unlock passive benefits that grow in value each step up.

Caesars VIP benefits include hotel discounts, free stays, monthly bonuses, waived resort fees, complimentary room upgrades, and more – all included based on the user’s tier level with no points exchanging required.

Members earn RCs and TCs simultaneously when they gamble, shop, stay, or dine at Caesars Entertainment properties. Additionally, customers earn RCs for shopping with preferred partners. Players also earn ORCs and TCs by wagering real money online.

In nearly all cases, members earn Reward and Tier Credits at the same rate, making the Caesars Rewards program refreshingly simple program to understand.

Note: The Tier Credit earning year runs from January 1 to December 31, after which all TC balances reset to 0. Players who have reached a Tier during an earning year retain that status for the remainder of the current year and the entire following year.

How to Earn Caesars Rewards Credits Online

New customers who aren’t already Caesars Rewards members automatically join when they sign up for accounts with any Caesars online betting or gambling product.

Existing Caesars Rewards members can also register with any Caesars online betting or gambling product and then visit this page to link their accounts.

In both cases, members automatically earn Tier Credits and Reward Credits for every real money wager they place with the following operators:

Caesars Sportsbook customers earn Reward Credits (RCs) and Tier Credits (TCs) simultaneously based on their wagering activity. The Caesars Rewards website explains the earn rate this way:

  • Up to 10 RCs and TCs for every $100 wagered on straight bets
  • Up to 20 RCs and TCs for every $100 wagered on parlays

Previously, Caesars Rewards deserved credit for its transparent rewards system, but it has once again shrouded the exact earn rate in mystery. Additionally, Caesars’ explanation has resulted in a surplus of confusion among bettors.

First, there is no cap on the total number of points bettors can earn from a single wager. The “up to” in the explanation refers to the maximum earn rate per $100 wagered, not a cap on the total number of points bettors can earn from a bet.

For example, a $100 straight bet can earn up to 10 RCs/TCs, a $200 bet can earn up to 20 RCs/TCs, and so on.

Second, bettors only achieve the maximum earn rate on straight bets with odds of -300 or longer (-300, -110, +200, +340, etc.). Straight bets placed at odds shorter than -300 (-320, -400, -500, etc.) earn less than 10 RCs/TCs per $100 wagered, but Caesars Rewards does not disclose what formula it uses to determine the earn rate.

Similarly, bettors only achieve the maximum earn rate on parlays (20 RCs/TCs per $100 wagered) at odds of +200 or longer. Parlays placed at odds shorter than +200 have a reduced earn rate.

Caesars Rewards moved to this system in mid-2023, resulting in sharply reduced earn rates for most wagers. Even money wagers and bets on underdogs took the biggest hit, while bets on big favorites gained slightly from the change.

Under the old system, bettors earned 1 RC and 1 TC for every $5 of potential profit on wagers, capped at 2 RCs/TCs per $1 wagered. That may not sound overly exciting, but the old system made it much easier for bettors to accumulate points.

For example, consider a $100 parlay at +400, with a potential net profit of $400.

Under the old system, that wager would have earned 80 RCs/TCs. Under the new system, that same wager would earn 20 RCs/TCs.

It’s a disappointing change, but to be fair to Caesars, the old system was exceptionally beneficial to bettors. The new system is less rewarding, but it’s now more in line with other online betting loyalty programs.

See BettingUSA’s Caesars Sportsbook review for a complete list of states where Caesars Sportsbook rewards are available and details on how to claim a massive welcome bonus.

Caesars Racebook offers legal pari-mutuel horse racing betting online in a growing list of states and participates in Caesars Rewards.

Horse racing fans can earn Reward Points and Tier Credits for every pari-mutuel wager they place with Caesars Online Racebook. The earn rate is reasonable, and the rules are simple:

  • All customers earn 1 RC and 1 TC for every $3 they wager on horse races with Caesars Racebook

See BettingUSA’s Caesars Racebook review for more information and an updated list of states where it’s available.

Caesars Rewards members earn Reward Credits (RCs) and Tier Credits (TCs) for every real-money wager they place on casino games at:

  • Caesars Palace Online Casino
  • Casino games integrated into the Caesars Sportsbook app and website

The earn rate varies depending on the types of games customers play:

  • Slots: 1 TC and 1 RC per $5 wagered
  • Table Games: 1 TC and 1 RC per $25 wagered
  • Video Poker: 1 TC and 1 RC per $25 wagered

See BettingUSA’s Caesars Palace Online Casino review for more about its loyalty program, state availability, and more.

Horseshoe Online Casino customers also become automatic Caesars Rewards members and earn rewards at the same rates when they play online:

  • Slots: 1 TC and 1 RC per $5 wagered
  • Table Games: 1 TC and 1 RC per $25 wagered
  • Video Poker: 1 TC and 1 RC per $25 wagered

All Caesars Rewards members automatically earn two types of points simultaneously when they play in real-money ring games and tournaments:

  • Action Player Points (APPs): Players receive 2 APPs per dollar paid in tournament and rake fees. APPs determine each player’s tier status in WSOP Rewards.
  • Caesars Rewards Tier Credits: Caesars Rewards members earn one Tier Credit for every APP they earn at WSOP Online.
  • WSOP Points: WSOP automatically converts APPs into WSOP Points based on the player’s multiplier level in the rewards program. Players can exchange WSOP Points for cash at a rate of 100 WSOP Points per $1.00.

See BettingUSA’s WSOP Poker review for more information about WSOP Online and its rewards program.

Members can earn Reward Points via Caesars Entertainment’s social casino games found on Facebook when they purchase virtual coins.

Note: Players must be logged in with their Caesars Rewards numbers through Facebook on a desktop computer to earn RCs on Playtika.

In short, members earn Tier and Reward Credits for just about every expenditure at Caesars and Eldorado affiliated properties, including:

  • Non-gaming activites: Earn credits for booking hotel stays, shopping, dining, spa treatments or other on-site amenities, and for booking meeting and events. For most activities, customers will earn 1 RC and 1 TC for every $1 spent. The earn rate is 1 RC per $2 spent on meeting bookings. No Tier Credits are earned for hosting a meeting.
  • Gaming activities: Gamblers earn credits on every wager they make, whether it be on sports, slots, video poker, bingo, table games, keno, or at the racetrack. Earn rates vary by activity:

Earn 1 TC and 1 RC by wagering the following amounts on different gaming activities.

Gaming ActivityWager Amount To Earn 1 TC/1 RC
Slots$5 (more on select machines)
Video Poker$10 (more on select machines)
Bingo$10
Keno$3
Table GamesEarn rate varies by game type, average bet, and length of play
Racebook$3
Sportsbook$5 of potential profit*

A couple of points of clarification:

  • Generally speaking, it will take more coin-in to generate 1 TC/RC on slots and video poker machines with higher payback percentages. For instance, a 9/6 JoB machine that returns 99.54% may only award 1 TC/RC per $25 wagered. Machines with lower earn rates are clearly designated.
  • *At most retail sportsbooks, bettors earn 1 TC/RC per $5 in potential profit, capped at 2 TCs/RCs for every $1 wagered. The exceptions are Harrah’s Philadelphia, Harrah’s AC, and Caesars AC, which award a flat rate of 1 TC/RC for every $10 wagered.

As the table indicates, all retail gaming activities earn Tier and Reward Credits at the exact same rate.

Guests can acquire bonus Tier Credits by earning 500 or more TCs in a day. Earning a TC bonus is often enough to move members up a level in the Caesars Rewards loyalty program.

  • Earn 500 TCs in one day: 125 TC bonus
  • Earn 1,000 TCs in one day: +1,000 TC bonus
  • Earn 2,500 TCs in one day: +5,000 TC bonus (instantly earns Platinum Status)
  • Earn 5,000 TCs in one day: +10,000 TC bonus (instantly earns Diamond Status)

Unfortunately, Caesars Sportsbook Tier Credits earned online or from a promotion or multiplier do not count toward the Tier Credit bonuses.

There are various other ways to earn Reward Credits that don’t necessarily involve spending money at a Caesars Rewards destination. However, customers do not earn Tier Credits for the following activities:

  • Caesars VISA Credit Card: Earn 5 RCs for every $1 spent at Caesars Entertainment properties, 2 RCs for every $1 spent on airfare, gas, and groceries, and 1 RC for every $1 spent everywhere else.
  • 10,000 RC + 2,500 TC Bonus: Spend $1,000 outside of a Caesars property within 90 days of being approved for a Caesars Rewards VISA card to earn 10,000 RCs and 2,500 TCs.
  • Caesars Rewards Marketplace: Shop online at name-brand retailers through Caesars Rewards Marketplace to earn RCs for every purchase
  • Caesars Rewards Dining: Dine at 25,000+ restaurants nationwide to earn 1 RC for every $1 spent or 4 RCs for every dollar spent with a Caesars VISA card
  • Say & Play Surveys: Complete surveys on various products and services through Caesars’ Say & Play program to earn RCs
  • 1-800-Flowers.com: Earn RCs with 1-800-Flowers.com purchases by providing your Caesars Rewards number in the Member ID box when checking out
  • Book Rooms with Wyndham Resorts: Caesars Rewards is partnered with Wyndham Rewards, allowing customers to earn and transfer points between both programs. Members can stay at 30,000+ Wyndham Resorts locations to earn RCs. Additionally, members can transfer points back and forth at a 1:1 ratio between programs.

Redeeming Caesars Reward Credits

Reward Credits are flexible, granting players a multitude of options to spend them. Caesars Rewards Credits can be redeemed by members rewards for:

  • Free play at retail Caesars casinos
  • World Series of Poker entry tickets
  • Dining at a participating outlet
  • Spa treatments
  • Hotel bookings at Caesars destinations
  • Shopping experiences throughout Caesars’ 55+ resorts and casinos
  • Show tickets including Caesars Rewards Live Events

100 Reward Credits are worth $1, with some exceptions:

  • Free play and World Series of Poker entry redemption rates are $1 per 200 RCs
  • Participating restaurants, spas, entertainment venues and retail outlets may support different redemption rates. This is fairly uncommon. At worst, the redemption rate will be $1 per 200 RCs.
  • For in-room movies, the redemption rate is $1 per 200 RCs.

Caesars claims that Gift Cards are redeemed at a $1/200 RC ratio, and that eCatalog items are redeemed at a rate of $1/100 RC, but BettingUSA conducted an analysis and found this not to entirely be the case.

More commonly, the eCatalog and Gift Card redemption rates hovered around $1 per 250 RCs, a value of just $.40 per 100 RCs. Customers should only spend their Reward Credits on eCatalog items as an absolute last resort.

Gamblers might be curious how much cashback they’ll receive by playing different games. Assuming they’ll be cashing in their RCs for free play, the cashback rates are as follows:

  • Slots: up to 0.1% cashback
  • Video Poker: up to 0.05% cashback
  • Bingo: 0.05% cashback
  • Live Keno: 0.167% cashback
  • Table Games: Unknown. Just going by the online table game earn rates, a Blackjack player with an average bet size of $25 should earn about 0.02% cashback
  • Racetrack: 0.167% cashback
  • Sports betting: up to 1% cashback at most casinos, 0.167% cashback at Harrah’s Philly, Harrah’s AC, and Caesars AC

Notice, that for the most part, these rates are pretty unimpressive. Unfortunately, they’re also fairly in line with industry standards, at least among the most prominent casino brands.

The sole bright spot is the earn rate on sports betting, which can reach as high as 1% if players are willing to place most of their wagers at or around +1000 odds.

Redeeming Caesars Reward Credits Online

There are just two ways to redeem Caesars Reward Credits online:

  • For bonus cash to use on wagers at Caesars Sportsbook
  • For bonus cash at Caesars Palace Online Casino or Horseshoe Online Casino

In both cases, customers can redeem Reward Credits for cash at a rate of 100 RCs per $1 in bonus cash.

Caesars Rewards VISA Card

Frequent guests can apply for the Caesars Rewards VISA card to instantly attain Platinum status and receive numerous benefits moving forward.

First, new Caesars VISA card users who make at least one purchase within 90 days of approval automatically become Platinum status rewards members. Additionally, users who spend at least $1,000 outside of Caesars properties within 90 days receive a 10,000 RCs and 2,500 TCs bonus.

Members must spend $5,000 per year to maintain their Platinum status after the first year, but those who spend $10,000 in a calendar year receive Las Vegas VIP access, which includes:

  • Access to VIP lines at restaurants, check-in, taxis, and events
  • Preferred entry to select Las Vegas nightclubs
  • Pool access to all Caesars Las Vegas properties

Additionally, members earn Caesars Reward Credits with every purchase they make with their Caesars VISA cards:

  • 5 RCs for every $1 spent at Caesars properties
  • 5 RCs for every $1 spent on sports and show tickets through Caesars Rewards Live Events
  • 4 RCs for every $1 spent at participating Caesars Rewards Dining restaurants
  • 2 RCs for every $1 spent on airfare, gas, and groceries
  • 1 RC for every $1 spent elsewhere

On Caesars property and Caesars Rewards Live Events expenditures, this works out to 2.5 – 5% cashback, depending how the RCs are spent. That’s competitive with the very best branded credit cards.

And in 2022, Caesars upgraded its Visa Rewards program to offer customers new ways to earn Tier Credits with purchases:

  • 2,500 TCs and instant Platinum status upgrade after card activation and with first purchase not at a Caesars destination
  • 5,000 TCs bonus with a $5,000+ annual spend

Caesars Rewards Live Events

Caesars Rewards members can visit the Live Events booking page to buy tickets to sports, concerts, and other events and earn RCs for every dollar they spend.

Additionally, members who use their Caesars Rewards VISA card can use the promo code CRV50 to get $50 off on their first purchase of $50 or more.

Caesars Great Gift Wrap-Up

All Caesars Rewards members earn Great Gift Wrap-Up points throughout the year as they play casino games at participating properties and online.

Caesars hosts two Great Gift Wrap-Up exhibitions each year where members can redeem their points for high-end electronics and jewelry, houseware, appliances, gift cards, and much more.

Members earn Gift Points by playing casino games at Caesars-owned casinos and online through the Caesars Sportsbook and Sportsbook app.

Caesars Rewards members can browse the Great Gift Wrap-Up catalog online year-round, but they can only redeem their points during one of Caesars’ main shopping events each November and December.

Caesars Rewards Marketplace

The Caesars Rewards Marketplace provides another way for members to earn additional points and discounts at name-brand retailers such as Lowe’s, Banana Republic, Shoe Carnival, and more.

Members can visit the Marketplace online to link their rewards cards and RCs while shopping. For example, members can shop online at Lowe’s through the Marketplace to earn 0.5 RCs per $1 spent. Additionally, the Marketplace hosts frequent short-term promos where customers can earn up to 15 RCs per dollar spent.

Wyndham Rewards Partnership

Caesars Rewards is partnered with Wyndham Rewards, enabling members of one to enjoy the benefits of the other.

For starters, Wyndham offers a status match where Platinum Rewards members will be matched to Caesars Rewards Platinum Status, and Wyndham Rewards Diamond members to Diamond status at Caesars.

The status match works in the opposite direction too. A Caesars Rewards Platinum member can receive a Wyndham Rewards status match to Platinum, and CR Diamond members are matched to Diamond at Wyndham.

Caesars Rewards members can also exchange their Reward Credits to Wyndham Rewards points, at a 1:1 ratio, up to a maximum of 30,000 point per calendar year. Likewise, Wyndham Rewards points can be converted to Caesars Reward Credits at the same exchange rate.

Caesars Rewards FAQ

Caesars Rewards members at Platinum, Diamond, and Seven Stars levels receive free valet service and self-parking. However, Platinum members only receive complimentary valet service at some properties.

Members must have their Caesars Rewards cards with them to receive free parking. Guests who don’t have their cards can visit the Caesars Rewards Center to request a new one.

All Caesars Entertainment destinations and 30,000+ Wyndham resorts hotels participate in Caesars Rewards. Caesars Rewards and Wyndham Rewards members receive tier-matching both ways by linking their accounts online to receive the full range of benefits from both programs.

Additionally, members can transfer up to 30,000 Caesars Reward Credits to Wyndham Resorts credits (and vice versa) each year.

Platinum and higher Caesars Rewards members can take advantage of one complimentary stay at Atlantis Paradise Island Bahamas each year.

The length and quality of the trip increases as members move up to higher VIP levels, so Caesars Entertainment recommends members check their status before booking a trip to ensure they aren’t close to moving up a level and earning a better trip.

For example, Platinum members receive a complimentary two-night stay, while Diamond members receive a four-night trip. Additionally, members can book additional nights at discounted rates to extend their vacations.

Each year, Caesars Rewards hosts several complimentary getaways for Caesars Rewards members. Each event lasts several days and treats Seven Stars members to a VIP experience at a different Caesars resort somewhere around the nation.

For example, Caesars hosted five Signature Events last year at locales spanning Take Tahoe to Atlantic City, each lasting four days and including several excursions such as golf outings, day cruises, and more.

Members can check their Caesars Rewards balances by logging in online, through the Caesars Rewards app, at any slot machine, or by visiting the Caesars Rewards Center at any Caesars casino.

They can also check how many TCs and Online Reward Credits they’ve earned online at Caesars Sportsbook & Casino. Just navigate to My Account -> Caesars Rewards.

Caesars Rewards prints members’ numbers on their cards, but guests can also find their numbers by logging in online, launching the Caesars Rewards mobile app, or asking for help at any Caesars casino.

Total Rewards was the old name for Caesars Rewards.

Caesars Reward Credits (RCs) only expire after six months if the member does not earn at least 1 RC during that time. Tier Credits (TCs) always reset on January 1st, but members retain the status they achieved in a calendar year for the entire next year.

Yes, MGM Rewards members who have achieved Gold status or higher can be automatically upgraded to Diamond status at Caesars Rewards.

Likewise, Diamond and Diamond Plus Caesars rewards members are matched to MGM Rewards Gold. Diamond Elite and Seven Stars members can receive an instant upgrade to MGM Rewards Platinum, which is the program’s highest non-invite-only tier.

Read more about MGM Rewards.

Technically, no. However, bettors will receive Online Reward Credits by placing wagers online, which they can convert to Reward Credits.

If you already frequent Ceasars destinations or place wagers at a Caesars affiliated online gambling site, then there’s absolutely no reason not to sign-up for Caesars Rewards.

The redemption and cashback earn rates may not be the greatest, but they’re certainly better than nothing, and at least on par with what several other major casino brands currently offer.

On top of that, Caesars Rewards members who manage to unlock Diamond status or higher, which really isn’t all that difficult, will enjoy a host of amenities that will make their stays at Caesars both more comfortable and less expensive.
